Madison Sinan is an active trumpet player and teacher in the Indianapolis and Denver areas. She is a founding member of The Calla Project and currently holds the position of Third Trumpet with The Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra. She holds a Masters degree in trumpet performance from CU Boulder and a Bachelor’s degree in music education from Messiah University.
Madison has competed in various divisions at the National Trumpet Competition for the past 7 years. She won First Prize in the Large Trumpet Ensemble Division with CU Boulder in 2022 and Third Prize in the Graduate Solo Division in 2024. She has also been a semifinalist in the solo and ensemble divisions and a finalist in the wind band division of the Ryan Anthony Memorial Competition. In 2022, Madison earned First Prize in the Mock Military Band Audition and Third Prize in the Category 1 Trumpet Solo Division at the International Women’s Brass Conference in 2022.
In August 2022, Madison toured Costa Rica with the Bel Tono Trumpet Ensemble as part of the BAC Credomatic Music Festival. She has also performed and recorded with The Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra, Colorado Ballet, Boulder Symphony, Boulder Opera, Voces Cordis, Pittsburgh Creators Project, West Shore Symphony Orchestra, and Northern Appalachian Wind Symphony.
